I mostly forgot to mention because I worked for FOURTEEN HOURS yesterday

So even thought I only signed on to play Angel ever so briefly in two episodes of Buffy Between the Lines, tomorrow is kinda special. The Producers put together an awesome little "mini-episode" just for Angel, which means it's 10 minutes or so of unadulterated me goodness.

The piece was REALLY well written, and I wish I'd had more time to spend recording it, but they did a great job making me sound good in the editing.

Voice Actor!

Some people ask me why I spend so much of my time working on projects that aren't specifically mine, and that don't pay me anything.  Of late, it's been the Buffy Podcast I've been working on.  Sound editing has been eating up ALOT of my free time, and some other projects have suffered a bit because of it.

Well, here's why I work on Buffy Between the Lines as hard as I do:

So the first "Special Feature" episode for Buffy Between The Lines is posted.  It's essentially an interview with the bosses who are putting the thing together, which is cool.  But what's cooler is that they reveal what's going on.

This "season" of the podcast takes place between seasons 5 and 6 of the show, while Buffy is dead. It's essentially what happens to the gang and what leads to them doing the whole resurrection thing.

Next "season" takes place between seasons 2 and 3 of Buffy, which is interesting because I get to spend the season in Hell...  But apparently I'll be around for, um... stuff. :)

So anyway, looks like episode 1 will launch at the end of September.

So tonight I recorded all of the dialog for both episodes that I appear in (as Angel) for Buffy Between the Lines.  I'm pretty psyched about the project, because the folks putting it together seem to really have their ducks in a row.  I've got another small part in episode 11, but for now, episodes 2 and 3 are in the can!

Once I know release dates for stuff, I'll post them here.

Hey Buffy fans!  Looks like I'll be working on THIS project.  As Angel.  I'm only in 1 episode in the first 12, so it won't be a big time commitment, but I'll likely get some incidental voices to do, too.  They just sent out the "do you accept you part?" email, so technically they could change the casting before the official cast list is posted if people turn stuff down, but that would just mean a meatier role...
