My video application was pretty straight forward and serious. Not a whole lot of time to be me when there's only 60 seconds to tell the world all the reasons you're qualified for a job.

So I wanted to do something a little less serious, and a little more fun as an adjunct to my video application. Not that the Murphy-Goode people ASKED me to, or will necessarily see it at all, but inspiration hit me in the car last week, and when that happens, you have to obey (or risk ticking off your Muse).

Thanks to the voice talents of several VERY awesome people, and thanks to Flax Art for having a sale on "Art Paper" I was able to put this together yesterday. Special shout-outs to melibabe for some brilliant editing suggestions, athenamuze for costuming advice, and bbbsg for being crafty and putting together "Suzie Sutter" our damsel in distress.

So yes, the room that has been "my" room since college was Jimmy's when he was a kid.

I presented it to my Aunt Alyce after dinner on Thursday, complete with the story of how I found it, after most of the non-family had left. She laughed so hard she almost had to go to the bathroom.

We told Jimmy's wife about it today, and she got a big kick out of it, but she wouldn't let me wrap it for Ryan for his 18th birthday. :)

Here's the book. It's a first edition!!!!
